Christians of today, through their lives, display the project revealed by Jesus in the parables of the Gospel. These men and women are often living parables, icons of a way of living which is at times opposed to the trends and models of the closing years of the Second Millennium. They are people who willingly dedicate their lives to men, women and children who are the outcasts of human society.
