Who is behind the identity of Aureliano Ondrisio, an unknown director that won the Venice Film Festival in 1973 (the year the festival never took place), or behind the name of Candido Vesin, an elusive doctor, or that of the furnisher Giovanni Maria Marazzita. Many have tried to give an answer, but till now, Federico Sinacori, the greatest cheat of Italian history, has succeeded in hiding himself from the police. He lives in Verbania, in a nice apartment under the false identity of Nicola Persico, a retired financial police officer. His life is made of dance lessons, some flirts, good food and opera.
