Blue Highways is a four documentary film series based on the same title novel by the American Indian writer William Least Heat-Moon. Blue Highways is a road trip through the American province along its back roads, which were marked with the colour blue on the old highway maps from the 50's. To say it with Heat-Moon's words, this is a "space where man can get lost". Today, driving along the old back roads it's possible to reach America's true heart. Blue Highways is the expression of a profound relationship between man and landscape, resembling a eulogy of slowness in the frantic era of globalization. The Wealthiest and most advanced country in the world is primal and wild at heart.

The Lazio Region, one of Italy's most important realities, invests in its productive resources.
