Carlo Mancuso, from Milan, is murdered while visiting the Turkish district in Amsterdam. At first it looks like he was involved in drug trafficking. But his father Salvatore, carrying out a parallel investigation, discovers that his son had a secret relationship with Leila, a Turkish girl. Her brother Aziz is charged with murdering Carlo to save the family’s honour. But Salvatore, after meeting the Turkish family and Leila, who is pregnant with Carlo’s child, understands that he needs to investigate further, until he eventually uncovers the real killers... Based on a true story.
