The Italian and international co-production "Caravaggio", starring Alessio Boni playing the role of the Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi, and directed by Angelo Longoni, will be soon available in DVD in the United States.  The 2007 period drama, focused on the tormented life and art of the seventeenth-century Italian painter, in constant conflict between light and shadow, will be released by the American independent distributor E1 Entertainment in the U.S. home video market next September 7th.
